Dos Gringos Burritos is located in the mountain town of Carbondale, Colorado in the shadow of our beautiful mountain, Mt. Sopris.

We wanted the project to reflect the community of Carbondale which has always been the foundation of the business model for Dos Gringos, and the way we as a community “see the world.” We believe our valley's residents are well traveled, are very respectful of other cultures and enjoy the outdoors, living life to the fullest with great appreciation for food, the arts and the natural beauty that surrounds us. 

At Dos, we strive to reflect this culture through art, music, food, coffee, and outdoor recreation. Based on this, our menu was inspired by our travels throughout the world to Thailand, Italy, Hawaii, Mexico and other places. Most of our organic coffee is harvested in small communities in Indonesia, South America, Costa Rica and Kenya. In all of these places and here at home I think our community deeply appreciates the recreational opportunities these places afford us to surf, climb, ski, bike, hike, kayak and explore. So the art project was an opportunity to express the essence of a culture – whether it be the art, music, cuisine, fun activities or all of the above!
